Went on a kayaking one star course with Jonathan, Jermey, Luke, Ian at Water Venture Club Kallang Basin.

Well, on the first day i was still kinda worried because i havent tried swimming in deep waters except for swimming pools. So i wasn't really comfortable initially. But the course did help to increase my water confidence :) still its just an enclosed area... i am not quite sure about the open sea LOL.

Well, did a lot of different style of paddling and i check out the net, the instructors really did their really best to teach us almost more than what we should know. But its good in a way, because its a kind of person skills :)

First day did the basics like forward and reverse paddling and stuff... oh... important is the capsize drill. Well many others though. Day two was the exciting one. Went further off the coast and towards the open. At first was pretty scary. Because of the waves and stuff. After getting use to it was quite ok. But imagine open sea, thats another story. Learn many other strokes like stern rudder and classical draw etc.

But still, the most interesting part is when we were eating apples in our kayak and the mass capsize drill. Thats like so exciting LOL. Zoe, the instructor has taken some pic and vid of us and i would prolly put it up if i find it suitable :P 

Well, most important is having fun and making knowing new people hmmm can only remember a name (nicholas) :P

Well, guess sam (instructor) will be passing round the contacts soon. Keep in touch bah :)

1st Aug, Leo msg me in the evening asking my out for makan with his friends. Find them quite nice. But guess they were shy LOL. I tried to make conversation with them as much as possible.

Went to riverside restraunt to makan and very paiseh... its an early celebration for Leo but was too last minute so didnt really get anything for him. But i will :) 

Leo is a very nice chap, someone whom I didnt expect to click and become friends so easily. Victor and Kelvin are nice people too :) Elvin is Leo's godbro... young fella still got long way to go in life.

After dinner we went to central for coffee... took a few pic while walking there.

The glittering like at night brings memories of sorrow,

Yet tomorrow seems just like any other day,
Filled with sorrow and loneliness that is hard to say.

Wed 25th Jul was my last written exam for the entire course and was quite relieved that its over le.

Fri 27 Jul made plans to go out with my MDIS class mates but cancel last minute. Met up with my Nee Soon camp mates for dinner instead.

Went Spageddes (spelling). The food not bad lah... but i dun really like sitr friend spaggetti... LOL
